Our compounding business began in October, 2000, when pharmacy compounding
became a service of Ball Ground Pharmacy. In April, 2004, owners Dale
Coker and Larry Wilson moved the compounding operation to the present
facility in Holly Springs.
Dale is a 1977 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy.
He is the past president of Cherokee-Pickens Pharmacy Association, has
served as chairman of the Compounding Section of The Georgia Pharmacy
Association’s Academy of Independent Pharmacy, and has held several
offices with the Georgia Pharmacy Association, including President for
2010-2011, and was past president of Cherokee County Habitat for Humanity.
Dale was recognized by his peers at the 2006 Georgia Pharmacy Association
Convention as the recipient of the Innovative Pharmacist of the Year Award.
He has also attained the prestigious achievement of obtaining fellowship
designation by the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP).
He currently serves on the education committee of IACP and on the advisory
council for Professional Compounding Centers of America. Dale resides
in Woodstock with his wife, Susan, and children, Laura and Scott. He is
a long time member of Hillside United Methodist Church where he has served
in many capacities, including lay leader and Sunday School teacher.
Larry is a registered nurse and certified pediatric nurse practitioner.
He is also Board certified in Anti-aging, regenerative, and functional
medicine. He is licensed in the state of Georgia as an advanced nurse
practitioner. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army Nurse corps
in 1994 after 22 years of active service. He held numerous positions during
that time that included both administrative and clinical roles in hospitals
and outpatient settings. He holds undergraduate degrees in Zoology and
Nursing and Masters Degrees in Nursing and Business Administration. Larry
served in many capacities during his tenure at Cherokee Custom Script
Pharmacy until his retirement in June, 2008.
We are members of Georgia Pharmacy Association, Academy of Independent
Pharmacy, National Community Pharmacists’ Association, International
Academy of Compounding Pharmacy, Professional Compounding Centers of America
and the American Pharmacists Association.
Our pharmacists and technicians have undergone rigorous training in the
art of pharmacy compounding. We attend seminars regularly to stay current
on the newest compounding innovations. Our facility is state of the art,
utilizing the newest technologies and equipment available. We are here
to serve your individual health care needs.
